Nursery & Reception
In Morning and Afternoon Nursery we are 3 and 4 years old, joining school for the first time.
We have our own entrance and playground .
There are seven areas of learning for Early Years:
- Personal Social and Emotional Development
- Communication and Language
- Physical Development
- Literacy
- Mathematics
- Understanding of the World
- Expressive Art and Design
and we have plenty of time during our sessions to choose our own activities. We often work in small groups in the classroom and outdoor area.
In Reception White and Turquoise we are 4 and 5 year old pupils starting school for the full day. We enjoy learning through play both indoors and outdoors, as well as working in small groups with an adult. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage for our lessons and we love to work outside and go out in all weathers!
