In Early Years, in addition to Tapestry, the dedicated X accounts are used to follow and share the learning journey of each pupil and reflect the Early Years curriculum at Whitley Lodge. The EYFS X (Twitter) accounts are accessed with the appropriate permissions from our EYFS team. Each week, a highlight from EYFS will be retweeted via the whole school account.

The EYFS X (Twitter) accounts are used to post about that class. Privacy settings mean that parents must request permission to view these posts. To do this, parents need to create their own X (Twitter) account, search for the class accounts, e.g. @WLFS_Nursery, and click to ‘Follow’. The school will review all requests and grant access where appropriate.

The main school X (Twitter) account, @whitleylodge1st, is public and parents can ‘Follow’ this without requesting permissions. School seeks permissions for children’s photographs to be used on social media at the beginning of each academic year. Selected tweets from the EYFS accounts will be retweeted on occasion.
