Friends of Whitley Lodge PTA

All parents are automatically members of the ‘Friends’.  Events and activities are arranged by a committee.  The Annual General Meeting usually takes place during the Summer Term. ‘Friends’ run numerous events for the children of this school and they are always ready to recruit any volunteer helpers.  Information regarding activities is circulated from school.  New members are assured of a warm welcome.

The ‘Friends’ is a registered charity and has a remarkable reputation and ability for fund raising.  The money has been used to subsidise visits, to purchase computers, musical instruments, PE equipment, playground equipment, electrical equipment and books. These purchases benefit all the children in the school.
