Site Grounds
In the heart of the community, Whitley Lodge First School benefits from extensive grounds surrounding the two-storey building. These include an enormous playing field, two large playgrounds with a ‘timber trail’, all weather running track, wooden pirate ship, astroturf covered reading areas, hard surfaced areas for games plus attractive gardens.
Reflection Garden
In 2021, one of our generous families, working with ‘Brambledown Landscape Services’, offered to design our amazing Outdoor Classroom and Refection Garden. The children were involved the children in the initial design phase and their ideas incorporated into the final design specification. The children loved being part of the design process.
We are delighted to have such an incredible facility on our school grounds which is used every week by the children in school.
