After the Reception year, classes are organised into mixed-age classes with 45 children in each cohort with approximately 30 children in each class. The organisation of the classes is arranged strictly according to age, whilst maintaining a gender balance.
Key Stage One
- White Class – Reception up to 23 children.
- Turquoise – Reception up to 22 children.
- Yellow Class – the youngest Year One pupils.
- Purple Class – the oldest Year One pupils are joined with the youngest Year Two pupils.
- Blue Class – the oldest Year Two pupils.
Key Stage Two
- Green Class – the youngest Year Three pupils.
- Orange Class – the oldest Year Three pupils join the youngest Year Four pupils.
- Red Class – the oldest Year Four pupils.
